The high stratum of cholesterol can be controlled by various methods for reducing the convulsion of cardiovascular diseases. The cholesterol often called the Jekyll and Hyde of the human body may pose a serious threat to your life.

Cholesterol is produced by the body in sufficient amount for the metabolic activities it supports. The liver is the generator of the waxy substance and it is also the excretory organ of the non-used particles of the fats. Then how come cholesterol level rises in your body; isn't it the question you want to ask?

The incrementation of the cholesterol level are due to various factors. The external intake, improper life style and smoking are the factors that encourage high level of cholesterol in your body.

The fats cannot move on its own through the blood hence they are carried or transported by some proteins. The package of the fats and the proteins is known as lipoprotein. There are two types of Lipoprotein-- High density lipoprotein (HDL) and Low density Lipoprotein (LDL). Wherein, the rise in LDL causes the risk of heart diseases and other problems. The rise in LDL forms plague in the arteries and causes disturbance in blood circulation.

To control cholesterol is not impossible. There are drugs prescribed by the doctors like Mevacor, Baycol, Pravachol, Lescol, Zocor, and Lipitor that help to reduce the LDL levels in the blood by chemical reactions with the vectors. Niacin and resin are the chemical formulas that are adopted to reduce triglycerides and LDL. The medicine option is generally recommended when the level rises beyond the borderline standard of 160 mg/dL of LDL. You can try other alternative methods for reducing the LDL level when it is found to cross the normal range.

However, the most natural and recommended treatment for cholesterol control is correction in your eating habits. Take note of following points while making your low cholesterol diet chart.

1.Reduce the intake of animal product foods like meat, eggs and butter.

2.Take fruits and vegetables salads since they are rich in fibers. They are free of cholesterol and at the same time helps in excretion of the fats from the body.

3.Chew two to three seeds of garlic every day in the morning. It helps in lowering the LDL fats.

4.Don't smoke and avoid heavy drinking. Maintain a proper dietary habit instead.

5.Exercise or do some physical workout to abate the cholesterol level. You can try some kinds of meditation or yoga for reducing the fat or extra weight.

6.Ginger promotes the flow of blood properly and also cuts down the plagued fats.

7.Take vitamin C supplements in the form of juices.

8.Also, increase consumption of grape and apple juices.
